Summer

Summer is when we truly begin to reap the benefits of farming - the delicious produce harvested from our fields. We are known for our sweet corn and heirloom tomatoes, but before those are in season we begin picking hundreds of other varieties of other fruits and vegetables, sold fresh every day in our market.

Beginning in June and continuing through the end of October, we offer a beautiful selection of local and home-grown produce, including tomatoes of all varieties, sizes, shapes and colors, corn, summer squash, cucumbers, eggplant, lettuce and other greens, bell peppers, hot peppers, peas, broccoli, melons, peaches, apples, green and yellow beans, lima beans, fresh herbs, and much, much more. You're sure to find something here that you've never tried before... perhaps a purple tomatillo, a miniature green kermit eggplant, a fuzzy peach heirloom tomato, or a hollow stuffing tomato that looks just like a yellow bell pepper! Many local restaurants feature Sansone's unique fresh produce on their seasonal menus.

This year, for the first time, we are excited to introduce our co-op program which will allow you to pick produce yourself from our insecticide-free field. Please visit our co-op page to learn more about the details of this program and help us decide what to plant in the field.
